Pedro Sánchez calls an early general election
On Monday, 5 October, Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said he had decided to convene an extraordinary Council of Ministers to dissolve the Cortes Generales and call a general election for Sunday, 29 November, in accordance with the legal timetable.
