MOBILITY: SUPPLY CHAINS MARK THE CHANGE

Mobility combines vehicle, battery, charging infrastructure, public transportation and raw material chains. No single technology describes the direction of the entire sector.

Reuters reported that China requested copper concentrate supply commitments as part of the review of the Anglo American–Teck Resources merger. Copper is important for power grids and electrification, but the corporate agreement still requires approvals and conditions.

Electric mobility also depends on price, model availability, charging access and network capacity. Sales figures must be published with market, period and source for the comparison to be valid.

What to watch: regulatory decisions, manufacturing projects, supply capacity and usage data, as well as product announcements.
