In the center of Gran Canaria, Roque Nublo rises above the landscape of peaks and pine forests. The monolith, located within the Nublo Rural Park, is one of the most recognizable natural symbols of the island and is part of a protected environment.

The route invites you to look beyond the viewpoint: the volcanic relief, the high vegetation and the changes in light explain why the interior offers a different experience from the coastal areas. On clear days, the viewpoints allow you to see a wide panoramic view of the island center.

The area is part of the Gran Canaria World Biosphere Reserve, declared by UNESCO in 2005. The designation values the conservation of nature and the relationship between the territory and the communities that inhabit it.

Before you leave: check the official information on reservations, access to the S-70 trail, weather conditions and possible closures. Visiting rules may change; It is not advisable to start the route without reviewing the current indications.

This guide describes the destination and does not replace notices from environmental authorities or local signage.
